♪『NEVER FADES AWAY』を聞いてファンになりました。
TAKUIさんはロック色が濃いのですが、綺麗な高音の歌声で歌い上げるバラードは特にすばらしいです！

『NEVER FADES AWAY』は歌詞カードを見ながら聞いてください。
反戦も含め命の尊さを歌っています。
特に良い歌詞は

「今夜、君のBIRTHを祝う　だから一つ知ってほしい

　生まれた日じゃなく　生んでくれた日ということを」

スタッフクレジットのSpecial Thanks toのところにはTAKUIの母親の名前が載っています。

TAKUIのメッセージのこもった歌詞が綺麗なメロディーに乗りすばらしいアルバムに仕上がっています。

曲数が少ない分値段も手頃なので、とりあえずのTAKUIの一枚目に最適。しかも聞き込めばとっても濃い濃い選び抜かれた７曲だとわかる。

TAKUIのロックは
アメリカ直入の本物のロックです！
古いように聞こえるんであればそれは
大きな間違い！
最近の日本ロックはテンションだけで、歌唱力が欠けています
もしくはガラガラ声・・・
そんな中、TAKUIは歌唱力もあり、
作詞作曲もロックとしての熱さを感じさせます。

このアルバムは２ndとの兄弟作なので２ndも

聴いてみてください。アルバム７曲という少なさは
「物足りなさ」でなく「聴きやすさ」が感じられると思います。
購入する価値ある一品！

CHUNKY GOD POPに続くコンセプトアルバム。
まずはライブでもかなりヒートアップする、「Baby, go for it」から。TAKUIはいつも最初に持ってくる曲の選曲がいい。「履歴書に稼ぎまくりたいって書けよ」のところは流石TAKUI、反抗心を煽りたたせてくれる。

今回のアルバムは「楽しさ」、「嬉しさ」、「愛」と凄く象徴的なコンセプトがぎっしり詰まったものだと思う。メロディーは全曲を通し、前回のCHUNKYと同じでキャッチーでいてそしてロック色がはっきり出ている。

「Drive my limo」は必ずライブで盛り上がるし、普通に聴いていても元気が出る。因みにこの曲の歌詞は面白く、韻を踏んでいるので、歌詞に抜かりがないというか、遊び心を全開にしているところがまたTAKUIの凄さだと実感する。「Shining Days」は愛から生まれる穏やかな優しさと強い優しさを印象付けるラブソングでもあるし、最後の「Never Fades Away」ではTAKUIが１人の男性として１人の女性を愛していく１つの形みたいなものが見える、とっても素敵なラブソングだ。「オーロラという指輪を君の指にはめよう」なんて心がロックじゃないと歌えない歌だ。TAKUIは一見ハードで表面上熱い風に見えるが、本当は誰よりも優しくて、愛情を持って生きている骨の髄まで熱い男だと判らなければ貴方のハートは石だ(笑)。最後にこの曲をもってくるのは正直ズルいと思う。思いっきり楽しませておいて最後に泣かせやがって！という感情に囚われる恐れ大。

アルバムは前回と同じですんなりと気持ち良く全曲通して聴ける。曲は少ないが大変充実しているし、何よりスタイルがある。他のアーティスト達には真似できないスタイルはやはりTAKUIの歌唱力をメインとするロックからきていると思う。あなた達とは違う！色とかジャージがね！という具合ですか。

この人は多分都会砂漠で足元を見失っても歌って生きていくんだ。。。
そんなTAKUIを求められずにはいられない筈。
