ブロードウェイの主演ミュージカルでトニー賞を獲得した過去も持つヘザーの1st。ミュージカル畑出身だけあり、その歌唱力はほんとに素晴らしい。しかもただ歌がうまいという熱唱系ではなく、とにかく歌に表情がある。そして、それを支えるプロデューサー陣もすごい。Jam & Lewis、Dallas Austin、Shep Crawford、そしてD-Influenceまで実にツボを抑えた陣容。そしてそれらがすべてヘザーの歌を重視したプロダクションを徹底しているのが素晴らしい。ジャムルイが手がけた(4)なども、なんともいえない味わい深いバラードに仕上がっているし、レゲエのフレイバーが感じられるアップの(3)も単純に聞いていて気持ちいい。(1)(2)も実にプロダクションが黒くていい。土臭さがぷんぷんのDallasによる(6)も、彼がJoiの時に見せたような気合の入りようが感じられるような曲調でオリジナリティたっぷり。ただ残念なのが、中盤以降に安易な曲調のものが続くこと。正直メロディに魅力がないものもあり、雰囲気勝負といったような曲もある。素晴らしい歌い手だけに、前半の勢いが止まってしまったのが実に残念。

最近、レビューみながらCDさがして10枚以上買ったけど、これはあたり！っていうか、みなさん、ちゃんと真剣にかいてますよ、ホント！
参考のしてまちがいなし（笑）さて、本題。彼女の甘く切ない、邪魔にならない歌声が心地よくきける1枚。BGMとして必須でしょう。
今の若者のははいりやすいとおもう。デイリーできけるし、何回でもきける。お得度★★★★★！

R&B系歌手の1stアルバム
3曲目はクールで乗りが良くかなり良い曲だと思うのですが、曲の中盤、変なラップが入る
のがなんとも残念な所です。センチメンタルな4、12曲目,バラードの11曲目もなかなか良い
曲ですが、名曲というにはちょっと足りない感じです。他はほどほどの曲ばかりで特に印象
に残る曲は無いです。
