それまでのハードロック路線から一転自身のルーツでもあるBLUESへ回帰のため1990年に発表されたこのアルバム。
とりわけ当時の日本のゲーリー（＝ハードロックギタリストとしての）ファンには賛否両論となってしまった。
しかし、今改めて聴いてみると、最近のアルバムに比べても、そこここに当時のゲーリーのトレードマークともいえるショットガン早弾き(笑)が聴けるではないか。3曲目のWalking by myselfでの間奏ソロを聴いてみて欲しい。　ほとんどの人に手放しで、"上手い、早い”と唸らせてくれるはず。
アルバムには、アルバート・キング、アルバート･コリンズ、ジョージ・ハリスン等豪華なゲストも登場している。
ジョージは別にしても、それまでBluesのアルバムを出したことも無いゲーリーにこんなBluesの巨匠達が参加するのはどんなツテがあったんだろうか？　そんな懸念も吹っ飛ぶくらい巨匠達との掛け合いは決まっている。　6曲目アルバート･コリンズとのToo tiredは、このアルバムの中でもベストテイクの一つと言える。
しかし、3名のゲストギタリストとも今は亡くなってしまった…それに付け加えるならばキーボードのニッキー・ホプキンスも亡くなってしまった…
彼らの為にもゲーリーは今日もStill got the bluesと、何処かで歌っているのだろうか？

ブルースでゲイリー・ムーアのギターテクニックが炸裂！タイトル曲の泣きのギターは最高！音色の美しさ、ピッキングの正確さ、私のギターのバイブルです。
