タイトル通り、藤井フミヤ本人によるリテイク(再録)盤。最初からジャジーなナンバーで先制パンチを食らい、パンク、クラブ、フルアコ、ロックと色々なリテイクを聴かせてくれる。そのそれぞれが様になっているあたり、やはりアイドルなんだと感心。

バラード系はじっくり聴けたし、アレンジもなかなか良くて気に入ってます。
NANAやTOKYO CONNECTIONなどアップテンポのものはちょっとショックでした。あまりにも無機質な感じがして、サウンドの匂いが感じられませんでした。どうしても、チェッカーズと比べてしまうからかもしれません。フミヤ氏はチェッカーズの頃も、こういうデジタルな音楽に挑戦したかったんだなぁと、このアルバムを聴いて感じました。

藤井フミヤという一人のアーティストとして聴いてください。
アレンジの中にも、昔のサウンドを壊さないようにチェッカーズの曲を大事にしている部分が見えてきます。
もう一つ思ったのは、チェッカーズのコーラス２人の存在がものすごく偉大であったと感じました。

同じ曲でも、編曲やアレンジによって、ずいぶんと違った感じで聞こえてきます。
オリジナル・バージョンと聞き比べてみるのも、楽しいと思います。
ヒット曲がたくさん入っていますから、ベスト版として保存しておくのもいいかも知れませんね。

昨年、諸事情により発売中止になった２枚のリテイクアルバム…。
残念に思ったファンも多いですよね。
それが、１年後、１枚ですが発売されることになりました！
ツアーなどでは既に聴いているリテイクバージョンですが、
おうちで聴けるのがとても楽しみ。わくわくしちゃいます。
（もしかして、更に違うVersionに!?）
「えっっっ!? あの曲がこんな風になっちゃうの？」
なんて、きっとファン以外の方でも楽しめるアルバムだと思います。
