WWE（World Wrestling Entertainment）のスーパースター総勢46人が登場する、派手で大迫力のプロレスゲーム。ファンにはたまらないこだわりが随所に盛り込まれていて、たとえば、スターの入場シーンは実写を使用。BGMや入場リアクションなど、テレビで見るのとまったく変わらない映像を取り込んだつくりとなっている。
試合中のヒーローの動きもじつにリアル。精巧なモデリング処理を行っており、ファン納得の動きをしてくれる。そして、WWEの演出をみごとに再現している点もこのゲームのウリのひとつとなっている。登場する各レスラーの人間関係は、ゲーム内でも関連していて、テレビと同じ演出ストーリーが随所に盛り込まれている。入場中の乱闘やリングの外での闘いなど、おなじみのハチャメチャなプロレスを楽しむことが可能だ。
おもしろいのは、キャラクターをカスタマイズできるエディットモードというもの。身体のパーツが500以上、技を200以上用意。さらに、凶器の椅子や机からトレードマークのサングラスまでエディットしてレスラーに装着させることができる。WWEマニアなら確実に買いのタイトルといえるだろう。（杉山和彦）
