まず音がものすごくかっこいいです
音質はクリアになっても、ごつごつした生のソウルサウンド健在です
アルの声も全然変わってないですし、全曲ハズレなしのEverything's OK！
こんなアルバムが今聞けるなんてめっちゃ幸せですわ
またアマゾンのUSA版はCCCD仕様ではないのもおすすめです

前作より数段良い。ソウルシーンの生き証人、アルグリーンの
ニューアルバム。最近の打ち込みサウンドとは対極の生音、熱い唄回しは健在。まさにEVERYTHINNG，OK。ソウルミュージック＝本アルバムしょう。

日本盤はCCCDであり、店頭に置かれているのもほとんどがCCCDなので、CDを買いました。
前作よりも格段にソウルフルなメロディと歌唱がアルバムの最初から最後まで聴けます。今回はほんとに最初から最後までとばしまくり。もちろん、今風のソウルに見られる打ち込み音はいっさいなく、バンドの生音、ストリングス、ホーンで構成される演奏。
最近、ポピュラー音楽界ではストリングス・アレンジが入っている曲が多く、このアルバムにもいいストリングス・アレンジが入っている曲があるのですが、このストリングス・アレンジよりもさらに、ホーン・アレンジメントがいいですね。バンドが持続するソウルフルな生音のグルーヴを引き立て、哀愁を誘います。
ホーン・アレンジメント、ソウルフルな歌唱。伝説のソウル・シンガー、オーティス・レディングを思い出しました。古きよきソウルを現代に発展継承する爽快な作品です。
