~スティーヴィー・レイ・ヴォーンが1st「Texas~~ Flood」をリリースした年に行われたTV番組でのアルバート・キングとのセッションをおさめた貴重な音源。両者ともに熱い。スティーヴィー・レイの反応も，ダブルトラブルとのプレイとは違ったものがあって面白い。アルバート・キングは体力的な絶頂期は過ぎているはずなのに，あのチョーキングとビブラートによる説得力は感涙ものです。

なお，アルバート・キングその人は，スタジオに入るまでスティーヴィー・レイ・ヴォーンが，1973年にアントンズでジャムって以来，可愛がっていた「リトル・スティーヴィー」だという事に気がついていなかったそうです。~

１９８３年１２月６日、オンタリオ、ハミルトンのTV局CHCHスタジオで収録された「In Session」という番組のためのスペシャル・ライブ音源。
Flying V使いのAlbert KingとStratocaster使いのStevie Ray Vaughanとの絶妙な駆け引きが聞ける貴重なライブで、２人の演奏スタイルの違いがよくわかります。
T-Bone Walkerのスロー・ブルース・ナンバー「Call It Stormy Monday」のAlbertの特徴的なベンディング（チョーキング）に始まり、このライブの主導権を握っているのはAlbertで、Stevie Rayのボーカルが聞ける３曲目「Pride And Joy」を除けば、Albertのレパートリーです。
しかし、そこはStevie Rayらしく熱のこもったプレイが聞けるのはファンとしてはうれしいところ。
このライブにおけるハイライト、１５分間にもおよぶ熱演の「Blues At Sunrise」は、必聴です（この曲は、Stevie Ray Vaughan And Double Trouble名義のスロー・ブルースを集めたアルバム「Blues At Sunrise」にも収録されています。）。

亡きアルバート・キングとスティーヴィー・レイ・ヴォーンのスタジオ・ライヴです。お互いのリスペクトが画面から伝わってきて、なんとも好ましいです。
