　スピッツの名盤達の中でも、一番癖の無いプレーンな味のアルバムだと思う。スピッツの曲の醍醐味を一枚に凝縮させたダイジェスト版のような感じでお腹一杯楽しめる。何年経っても色褪せない名盤の中の名盤で、スピッツを語るのに欠かせない傑作である。Recycleのようなベスト版ではスピッツの重さや軽さを十分に味わえないが、そうした良さを全てこの一枚で経験できる事は受請け合いだ。
　個人的には、「Y」と「グラスホッパー」が好きで、バラードからロック系までこなすスピッツの柔軟で才気溢れる側面が伝わってくる。今も尚毎日耳にする。90年代のJPOPを創った確かな実力者スピッツの歴史的名盤を是非一度は聴いて欲しいところだ。

「ハチミツ」はこれまでのスピッツの中で一番売り上げが良かったアルバムだそうです。
初めて聴くときから全体的に耳馴染みが良く、可愛らしくて少し切ない名曲が並びます。そして収録されている曲は全て、ジャケットの爽やかな風景とイメージがピッタリです！ボーっと聴いていると、それぞれの曲が作り出すキレイな世界にワープしそうになります。「ハチミツ」に限らず、スピッツの曲は皆、聴き手の想像力をかきたて、実際に自分が歌で描かれている世界にいるかのような錯覚を起こさせるものばかりですが。

ただ可愛いアルバムといっても、一色単に似たような曲が散りばめられているのではなく、「ロビンソン」「愛のことば」のような王道ＰＯＰｓから、「グラスホッバー」や「トンガリ'９５」といったロックな遊び心満載の曲まで盛りだくさん・・・絵本をめくっているような感覚で飽きずに聴けること間違いなしです☆

僕はペーペーの18歳です。当時小学生だった僕が初めて聞いたスピッツの曲はこのアルバムのハチミツで、小学生ながらに感動しました。でも最近久しぶりにこの曲を聞いて何とも言えない穏やかな気持ちになりました。とにかく感動しました。これがレビューを書こうと思った理由です。普段あまりこういうクソ真面目な文を書くことはあまりないのですが何か猛烈に文にしたい、誰かに伝えたいと思いました。草野さんの書く詩は難しくて僕なんかにはまだまだ理解できないけどそれがわかるようになった時、もっとスピッツが好きになれる気がします。そういう意味で僕の目標の一枚です。みなさん是非聞いてみてください！きっと何か感じるものがあるはずです。
