クラシックをよく聴くが、メタルにも興味がある。　メタルヘッドだが、クラシックも聴いてみたい。　そういう方にお勧めの一枚。

友人があまりにも薦めるものだから、サーフィングのついでに彼等のウェブサイトを訪れ、ビデオを見ました。・・・久しぶりに笑わせてくれましたね。　彼等のクラシックアーティストとしての技量もさることながら、チェロでメタルを奏で、ヘドバンをかます四人の姿には抱腹絶倒してしまった（彼らの中傷ではありません、念のため・・）。　が、彼等のチェロ・クラシックメタルへの情熱に完敗しました。　とりあえずこのベスト盤を買わずにはいられませんでしたね。　今後が期待できる、面白さを兼ね備えた奇妙なバンドです。

チェロのみで奏でるヘヴィメタルは、唯一無二のオリジナリティ｡その試みだけでもおもしろい上に､かなりずっしりとした音がのしかかってくるよう｡

メロディはダークで物憂げでありながら、アグレッシヴなリフとリズムを刻む｡クラシカルメタルというよりは､ヴォーカル無しの純粋なインストゥルメンタル・ヘヴィメタルという方が的を射た表現に思われる｡

「チェロによる~」という特徴がすべてのようでもある（私はその謳い文句にとびついた口だが）。単純に楽曲として評価するとなると、いい線を行ってはいるが手放しに最高評価つける程でもないレベルではないかと。発売時点でのベストではあるが、「ベストでこれか」という思いはどうしても否めない。
