メシアンは多作家でありソロ曲から大編成のオペラまであり、結果として、優れた作品とそれほどでもない（私にとって）作品が生まれてしまったが、メシアンは生前、自作曲の録音があると聞くと、必ず駆けつけて、立ち会っていたそうである。この録音は、メシアンの立ち会いは無いが、優秀な弟子であったブーレーズなら、その必要は無い。３曲とも、ベストな演奏であり、若い頃に録音した同曲よりも、柔らかさが増しているように感じられる。しかし、相変わらず、３曲目は音だけで聴いていると、いきなりドラの「ジャーン！」という音に驚いてしまう。演奏会場なら、叩くのが判るが、音だけだと、依然として驚いてしまうのは、我ながら恥ずかしくもある。聴き慣れても、変わらない。

とにかくｹﾞｿｦｿにからまれてブーレーズやらメシアンの
ＣＤ買って聴いた訳だがﾚﾎﾟﾝは一曲気に入ったのがあっただけ。
クロノクロミーに至ってはいまだにｹﾞｿｦｿに騙されたと思ってる。
