5.0 out of 5 stars 二丁拳銃で胸をブチ抜かれる感覚．, 2004/5/4
ルイス･ブニュエルとサルバドール･ダリという存在自体が冗談のようなコンビが作ったシュルレアリスム喜劇。
もはや伝説となった冒頭のシーンはじめ、惜しみなく繰り広げられる悪夢のような映像世界は勿論、
観客に「触感」「痛み」までもキチンと伝え切るリアリティ描写はお見事。
シュルレアリスム＝超現実主義というテーマを消化した上、
単なる不条理劇に堕さない喜劇性と娯楽性をも持ち合わせた作品。

不気味なモチーフの数々にいちいちフロイト的な解釈を与える事も可能かも知れないけど、
この映画を愉しむ上ではそんな事どーだっていいでしょう。
二人の天才の荒波のようなパッションに身を委ねつつ爆笑するのが一番かも。

この映画はルイスブニュエルとサリバドールダリとが協力して製作した
シュールレアリスムをモチーフにした映画です。
この説明ではわかりにくいでしょう。まず映画には最初からストーリーは
存在しません。ちなみにブニュエル監督の映画は故意にストーリーやプロットを
破綻させた映画ばかり製作しました。前衛映画とはこのようなものだ
と解釈してください。

だから駱駝が現れるシーンがあるなどと書くしかありません。
短時間の映画です。
この短編映画のクライマックスは女性の眼球を剃刀によって潰すシーン
でしょう。これはダリの伝記を読むとまず豚の眼の周りを綺麗に毛を
剃ってその豚の眼球を剃刀によって潰すシーンを撮影してから新たに
女性の顔を撮影して二重撮影に仕立てたものだそうです。

衝撃的な映像とアバンギャルドで非現実的ストーリー展開によって描かれるシュールレアリスムの傑作。ストーリーなどあってないようなものでその卓越した前衛芸術的映像を鑑賞するしかない。当時としてはあまりにも斬新で抽象的な作風はいま観ても不思議な魅力を感じさせてくれる。社会通念など完璧に破壊して人間の根底にある醜い欲望や抑圧された攻撃性などを映像に焼き付けた功績は大きい。
