スウェーデンのメロディックメタルバンド、アクセンスターの1st。2003作
ここの所たて続けに北欧、スペインあたりで新たなメロスピバンドが頻出しているが、
このバンドもそのひとつ。基本は疾走系だが、三連系のパワメタタイプの曲もあり
Voが兼ねるキーボードがきらきらと美しく、メロディもなかなかいいものを持っている。
この手にしては珍しくハイトーンというよりは、中音域で無理なく歌うタイプのヴォーカルが
音の中では弱く感じられるが、これはこれでうるさすぎずそう悪くはない気もする。
全体的に非常に聴き易く、無難に評価できるメロスピの佳作だと思う。すでに2ndも出ている。

確かに哀愁はありますがソナタのようなバランスの良さがないと思います
遅い曲が多いような気がして早さを求める人はあんまり・・・・・・
あとＶｏがちょっと弱いかなぁと感じました

セカンドアルバムの「ファー・フロム・ヘブン」は音質がよく、捨て曲なしの星５つですが、このファーストアルバムは音質がよくありません。１、３、４曲目はほんとに見事なメロパワですが、ギターの音が出すぎていてボーカルの声が聞き取りづらいです。ほんとに惜しい。
でも、やっぱり買いです！メロパワが好きな方はぜひ聞いてください。

音質さえ気にならなければの話ですが・・・・
