アメリカンなギャグ映画は好きではありませんが、この映画は違いました。
筋書きとしては、「魔王」であるお父さん、そして地獄を救おうという、まぁありきたりな映画ですが、ギャグ「だけ」しかないスカスカ映画とは違います。

とくにダメなニッキーが、それでもお父さんを必死に（というか何度も死ぬんですが（笑））救おうとするところ。。。笑える映画なはずなんだけど、不覚にも心を動かされてしまいました。

ニッキーは何度も何度も死ぬし戦争映画以外で
ここまで命を軽んじた映画はなかなか無いでしょう。
それなのになぜかとても温かくホッとする映画でした。

最後にニッキーが死ぬシーンは特に感動し
美しさすら覚えました。

何気なく観た映画でしたが、初めから終わりまでストレートに笑えました。魔王役のハーヴェイ・カイテル、伝説のスーパースター　ダン・マリーノ、クエンティン・タランティーノ、更にあのオジー・オズボーンまで登場します。パトリシア・アークェットがシーンの中で、「フィンガー！」と言う所がとても可愛い。「トゥルー・ロマンス」と比べるて俳優だなぁと感じました。
また、アダム・サンドラーも「ウエディング・シンガー」との対比もとても面白く、純粋でやり過ぎではない演技は非常に素晴らしいものを感じます。大好きな男優の一人です。
ばかばかしい事ばかりの連続ですが、いやみが無く、又観たくなるコメディ映画です。
