活動停止状態（解散ではない）に入る前に出た、ライブ盤。ライオン発表後のツアーからの録音となり、今となっては貴重な置き土産となった。ライオン収録曲が多いが、元々ライブ感のあるライオンの曲をライブで聞くと、さらにかっこよく、ギターのふてぶてしい音も素晴らしい。ボーカルのエフェクトは、ツェッペリンのライブあたりから、歪んだような感じが気に入ってるようですが、好みの分かれるところかも。既に語られているように、ライブでの演奏力の高さ、即興性、レパートリーの多さなど、彼らの場合、ライブを見ずしてクロウズを語る無かれみたいなとこがあるので、未体験者はこのアルバムを聞いて、その一端を垣間見ていただきたい。

the Black Crowesの醍醐味はなんといってもライブにあります！

クロウズのライブ聞かずしてクロウズを語るなかれ。何千回とライブをこなす彼らが２度として同じものをやらないのは周知の事実。彼らの最大の魅力はジャムに発揮されます。残念ながらこのライブバンドの初のオフィシャルライブＣＤにおさめられているのはベストではありませんが、充分に彼らの味は発揮されています。old school rockが好きな人は必ずや熱くなれます。ライブに行ったことのない人、Taperの音源を聞いたこののない人はスタジオレコーディングより先に買ったほうがいいくらい、クロウズのライブ最高！！

最近のブラッククロウズはとてもかっこいい！
スタジオ版ＢＹ　ＹＯＵＲ　ＳＩＤＥからジミーペイジとの競演ライブアルバム、最新アルバムＬＩＯＮで何か変わったような感じがする。
このバンドの醍醐味はライブだと言われているが、ここでもロックのかっこよさを最高に聞かせてくれる。

同じロック好きオヤジ手前一歩世代だからか？ロックオヤジ手前一歩世代のワシの心を鷲掴み！つぼをつきまくりです！
もちろん、老若男女ブラッククロウズファンにはマストアイテムだが、仕事でお疲れの眠れるロックオヤジ達に是非聞いて欲しいアルバムです！
