目を閉じて、じっと音楽を聴くためだけに流してもいいし、何かをしながら聴いてもまったく邪魔にならない。
午前の仕事をはじめるとき、友達とお茶を飲んでいるとき、夜ひとりで本を読みながら、そうゆうシチュエーションでこのCDを聴くと、くつろいだ雰囲気になれる。

歌詞がほとんど無いので、何かをしながら聴いていても意識が歌に持っていかれるようなことがない。
ゴンチチというアーティストを知らない人に対しても、アーティストの存在をまったく気にせずに聴くことができるので、おすすめできる。
何気ないBGMに最適の一枚。

ゴンチチの代表曲18曲を収録したベスト・アルバムです。二人の「演奏活動の轍」として聴きました。上質の音楽が一杯詰まった缶詰のようなアルバムですね。

代表作として有名な「放課後の音楽室」が１曲目に収録されています。遠い昔、子供の頃にこのような懐かしいメロディとハーモニーを持った曲を聴いたことがあったなあ、と思い起こさせるような曲でした。心の奥深い所に潜んでいた感情を揺らしてくれます。

「Buon Giorno」や「塩と太陽」は、軽快なテンポの曲です。トロピカル・ムードがたっぷりでどこか南国の島のリゾートでゆったりとくつろいでいる気分ですね。日常の心配事をも忘れさせてくれるような美しいメロディを持っており、聴いてホッとします。

「28」や「Tiny Lips」を聴いていると、青空の下浜辺のデッキチェアに寝転がって空をのんびり見ているような気分をもたらしてくれました。彼らのギター・デュオは、上質なサウンドをいつも提供してくれます。大人の音楽が奏でられています。

疲れている時に、複雑な構成を持った音楽や強烈な刺激を与えるような音楽は、聴きたくはありません。ここに収録されている曲は、どれもが優しく穏やかな音楽ばかりです。
肩の力を抜いて、リラックスして、ゴンチチをお聴き下さい。
押し付けがましくなく、声高に主張するわけでもない音楽って貴重ですね。

なんと言っていいか・・どれほど・・心をなごましてくれるアルバムでしょう。休日ののんびりした時間、いつも聴いています。癒されますね。そしてのーんびりリラックスできます。GONTITIっていいなぁ。逸品です。
