昨夜、コンサートを聴いて感動し、その場（会場）で買いました。
歌唱力の素晴らしさはいうまでもありませんが、原曲のイメージを大切にしながらも新しさを感じさせるアレンジに乗せ、布施明ならではの、一曲一曲の隅々まで十分に作り上げられた、その完成度の高さに脱帽しました。

リアルタイムの「愛は不死鳥」を聞いたことがなく、オリジナル音源のレコード、CDなどで聞いていた時は、正直、力がはいりすぎた歌いかたで聞いていると疲れを感じることもあったが、50代になって収録した楽曲はアレンジも洒落ていて不要な力みもなく　「あぁ、名曲だったんだぁ」　と納得。往年のヒット曲だけでなく、「ア・カペラ」ももともと充分にあった実力＋年輪を重ねた雰囲気がでていていい。

なんとなく物憂いこの頃、素敵な男性の声を聞きたくなって、私の大好きな声を持つ布施明の検索をしていたところ、ベスト版を出した直後だったので早速買ったところ、大感激。一曲目の（君は薔薇より美しい）と（カルチェラタンの雪）が秀逸何回聞いてもあきません。美声を保っている布施さん最高！
