   三国志の世界を舞台に、高名な武将たちが広大な戦地で「知」と「武」を用いた熱い戦いを繰り広げていく爽快なアクションゲーム。脅威のロングセラーを記録したアクションゲームの決定版が、さまざまな要素を追加して装いも新たに新登場！

   まずは「無双モード」での使用可能キャラクターが一新。「張角」や「袁紹」など、前作では描かれることのなかった7人の猛将たちのストーリーを追っていくことができる。ほかにも、護衛兵を自分の好きなようにカスタマイズできる「エディット機能」の搭載や、「チャレンジモード」に新たに追加される4つのモード、各猛将たちに用意される「第5の隠し武器」など、前作をやり込んだファンのかゆいところに手が届くような新フィーチャーがうれしいところだ。

   加えて、護衛兵エディット機能や第5の隠し武器などの要素は、前作のキャラクターたちにも反映できる。プレミアムパック（『真・三國無双2』とのセット商品）も用意されているので、前作からプレイしたいと思っている人は要チェックだ。バッサバッサと敵をなぎ倒していく爽快感と、かといって力だけではうまくいかない戦略の必要性など、「三国志」の世界観をそのままに表した傑作だ。（荒木秀哉）

　真･三國無双２の追加ディスクとしてプレイする人が多いだろうこのゲーム。しかし、私の場合猛将から無双ワールドにのめり込んだ一人だ。単体では、強めの武器が４分の１程しか取れないが、価格も安い為、どんなものか試しに、という感じで買うのも良いかもしれない。そして、楽しければ「２」を買う、というふうにしてもいいと思う。

　

　また、真・三國無双シリーズの続編、「３」が（Koeiホームページを参考にして下さい）2月下旬に発売するのでそっちを待つのもいいと思う。
　
　
　価格も安いし２があればかなり楽しい。しかし、単体でやり込む、というのには、はっきりいってオススメできない。今なら２の中古なども安いしそっちを買うのも又一つの方法だと思う。

この値段でこの内容なら、かなり買いだと思います。しかし、今回の七人以外の武将の無双モードは、真三国無双2のソフトに一回入れ替えて、データを読み込まなければいけないところが、「あれっ？」という感じ（2は持ってるからいいけど）

2と比べると、視点が少し引いた感じになっていて見やすくなっています。

武器はもちろんアイテムも増えています（護衛兵専用武器、アイテムまで）
護衛兵のカスタマイズも結構ハマリます。

猛将伝だけでもかなり楽しめるけど、2があればもっと楽しめます。

最初の真三国無双とちがって２をベースとした２人モードでさらなる広がりが楽しめるのが何とも良いですね。特にこの猛将伝は主人が大好きな呂布がメインキャラで選べて、二人で協力しながら最強武器を獲得する喜びがあります。第３段も期待できますね。欲を言えばビジュアルにもう少し細やかさがあればいい感じなんですが、少々粗めです。
