Ｖｏｌ．１のレビューでギャバンの魅力については概ね書かれていると思われますが、宇宙刑事と言えば忘れてはならないのがその劇伴音楽或いは挿入歌。特にインストルメンタルやアレンジバージョンでなく、歌入りでそのまま使われる事の多い挿入歌は名曲の宝庫。このＶｏｌ．２ではさらに輝きを増したその魅力を堪能出来ます。蒸着（他作品で言う所の変身）シーンから戦闘シーンに使われた「チェイス！ギャバン」は特撮史に輝く、最高のバトルミュージック。これを聞いて燃えなければウソでしょう。このＤＶＤを見れば、ＣＤで曲だけ聞くのでは味わえない本物のアツさが、そして時代が忘れかけている一生懸命さ、或いは額に流れる汗といったものが湧き上がることでしょう。

東映は画質に気合を入れた場合と手を抜いた場合に差があり過ぎです。
ニュープリントコンポーネントマスター仕様にすると、旧マスターの使いまわしの本作よりキカイダーや初代仮面ライダーの画質が良くなってしまうんだから驚きです。

裏を返せば、宇宙刑事シリーズもちゃんとニュープリントマスターで出せば、こんなもやもやして不鮮明でおまけに傷だらけの低画質よりずっとコレクションし甲斐のあるアイテムになったのでは？
