   もちろん付属のコントローラーの色は、本体とおそろいのオーシャンブルー。先立って発売された、別売りの『アナログコントローラ（DUALSHOCK 2）オーシャン・ブルー』や『PlayStation 2専用メモリーカード（8MB）アイランド・ブルー/エメラルド』など、アクセサリーのカラーバリエーションにもぴったりとマッチするようになっている。

   また、オーシャンブルー仕様の縦置きスタンドと既発売のPS2専用DVDリモートコントローラー（色：ブラック）が同梱されているので、とてもお買い得だといえるだろう。ユーザーの好みに合った色でPS2ライフを満喫したい。もうひとつの色、日本的な雰囲気をかもし出す墨の色をフィーチャーした『PlayStation 2 ゼン・ブラック』も要チェック。（荒木英哉）

夏といえば、やっぱりブルーでしょう。今までの黒色と比べてインテリアとしてもこちらの方が清涼感があります。かといって冬になったらどうするんだといわれると、ほこりの目立つ冬は黒よりやっぱりブルーの方が私は好きです。機能的にはあまり変わらないように思えますが、ディスクがすごく入れやすい。以前は時々ディスクを入れ損ねて閉める時に挟みそうになり、ぎょえーっとなりましたが、今回はその心配はなさそうです。ディスクをよく出し入れする人にはいいかもしれません。

この型番から外国での生産に切り替わったのですが、10000番系とは大きく進歩しています　盤面が青いＣＤＲＯＭのゲームは振動が酷くやかましかったのですが、37000は騒音が１／４になりました　傷があって読み込みずらいディスクも、もろともしないです。

新型50000番以降の弊害（マルチタップやマクロ機能付きコントローラー使用不可）がないので今でも買う理由はあります。

安っぽいと言う人もいますが、
明るい部屋で見るオーシャンブルーは他のＰＳ２にはない魅力があります。

SCPH30000を売りに出し、オーシャンブルー限定版を購入しました。
私の好きな色でもあり、申し分ありません。
誤算だったのは、SCPH30000に比べディスクトレイの開閉がスムーズです。
仕様変更したのだろうか・・・。
まぁ、とにかく嬉しい誤算です。V(^o^)
DVDプレイヤーとして、PS2を使用している為、付属のリモコンも嬉しい
限りです。
