音楽の美しさ。クラシックからスタートして
ロックに至る音の要素が随所に散りばめられている。
受精卵が生命の歴史をたどって成長して発生に至るように。
だから、彼女をよく知る人にも、初めて彼女の音楽を聞く人にも
心地よく聞こえる。

愛と死の間を媒介する魂の声。泥臭さとは無縁なイメージながら
詩は聞き方によっては極めて重い。

しかし表面をなぞるだけなら、とても軽やか。ＢＧＭとしてもＯＫ。
でも深読みするほど重くなる。ファドのような感傷にも通じる。
この並行関係がうまく作用する。

「愛」がいくつも唄われている。
時に低くそっと、時に軽やかに、鈴木祥子さんは唄う。
色々な愛のカタチを自分に置き換えてみる。
苦しい気持ちも、愛する事からきているのなら仕方ない、
なんて、祥子さんの唄を聴いていると自分に言って
あげられる。
