スキャットマンジョンさんはブレイク後も何かと気になる存在でした。ＣＤを買おうか迷っていたけれど今さら・・・＊＾＾＊なんて思いもありました。
たまたまアマゾンで検索してみたらベスト版を見つけ注文し本日届きました。やっぱりこのノリノリスキャット最高です！！
今も聞きながら書き込んでますが１.スキャットマン、２.スキャットマンズワールド、３.オンリーユー、あたりはとても有名なのでスキャット世代でなくても
一度は耳にした事もあるのでは？曲だけでなく人柄までも分かるような一枚です。みんなに元気を与えてくれたスキャットさんに心からご冥福をお祈りします。
とりあえず通勤曲確定です。家だと気付くと口ずさんでいます。言葉が分からなくてもみんなでノリノリスキャットしませんか？(^^)☆☆☆

スキャットは意味のない音をメロディーにあわせて即興的に歌うことで主にジャズで行われている。
吃音者であること、52歳でのデビューなどスキャットマン・ジョン自身もさることながら彼の歌もまた素晴らしい。
そして最高に素晴らしいのは歌詞だ。吃音であることに尻込みしてはいけないと吃音者の彼自身がいうのだ。これほど説得力のある事はない。
1999年に死去されているので彼の生の声はもう聞くことはできないがせめてＣＤの中で彼の歌を聞いて見ませんか?

今でも、スキャットマン・ジョンのあのスキャット（？）を最初に聴いた時の衝撃を覚えています(^_^)
一体何をしゃべっていてこの人の口はどうなっているの？ってな感じで。だから一緒に口ずさむのが難しいのが難点？ですが、とにかくノリノリで良い！クラブでもディスコでもよく踊ってたなー(笑)
「Scatman」「Only you」「Sing Now!」は永遠にドライブでノリノリのテーマソングです！本当に惜しい人を亡くしましたが、
名曲を聴き続けてあげましょう！
ベストアルバムなんですから、当然BESTです！
