　”LIGHT MY FIRE”（原曲はドアーズ）から始まり、”MY WORLD IS ENPTY WITHOUT YOU”（シュープリームス・ナンバーで有名）、”CALIFORNIA DREAMIN'”（あまりにも有名なママス＆パパスの大ヒット曲）、”SUNNY”（ボビー・ヘブのスタンダード・ナンバー）・・・・と、情熱的でソウルフルなラテン系ギターと歌声のフェリシアーノ・ワールド全開。

　特に”CALIFORNIA~”は、あのフォーク・ロックのスタンダード・ナンバーが見事なまでに彼独自の光と影の世界に塗り替えられていて、何度聴いても感動的。
　他にも、このプエルト・リコ出身歌手の歌い上げる”THE STAR-SPANGLED BANNER”（アメリカ合衆国国歌）、”CHE SARA”（故郷よさらば、後はなるようになるだろう・・と歌うラテン・ナンバー）など、聴くほどに胸に迫ってくるものがある。
　このベスト盤は、歌とギターに熱いソウルを感じたい音楽ファンにはまさに必携ものと言えるのではないか。

いいベスト盤とは言えないな。
彼の名演中の名演でもある、「ゴールデンレディ」が収録されていない。
レアグルーヴ〜サバービア〜フリーソウル関連でこの曲に興味持った人は、このCDを買えないです（悲）。

また、日産のCMソングに使われた「ワイルドワールド」も収録されていない。
CMで彼を知った人は、CDを買ってガッカリするだろう・・・。
（シンプルなアレンジだが、「あのCMのシンガーは誰？」なんて声もあったはずなのに。）

この２曲が収録されていないことで、このアルバムの魅力は半分以下。
それでもイイ演奏・名唱は入っていますけどね。。。
