5.0 out of 5 stars ピーナッツが好きな人、岸部シローが好きな人、プログレが好きな人にオススメの超名盤, 2005/3/11
まずザッピーナッツ好きの人には定番曲は短いながらもかなり入ってるし
ライブなのに音がすごくいい
スタジオアルバムに思えるぐらいの音質、バランスのよさ

あと洋楽のカバーがとにかく選曲センスがよく
ユーライアヒープ、キャロルキング、キングクリムゾン、
アイク＆ティナターナー、定番アメリカンポップス
ゴッドファーザーのテーマ
と実に泣けます

それから岸部シローの司会が超おいしい
岸部シロー節全開で「ぽっぷすぅたいむとんねーるー」って
すげ―です、貴重です
ザピーナッツファンの方には不評なようですが
岸部シロー好きにはたまりまへん

しかしザッピーナッツの何が一番魅力なのかと考えると
たしかに楽曲のよさもあるんですが
やっぱり双子であるところですね
最近ザピーナッツのカバーをしてる若い歌手がいましたがダメでした
何故か
同じ声質が二人いないからです
普通まったく同じ声質のボーカルを重ねようと思ったら
オーバーダビングしかない
双子はそれをリアルタイムで可能にしてるんですよね
そしてただ双子であればいいかというとそうでもない
二人とも同じくらいの声量・技量がなくてはならないし
そう考えると奇蹟的なすごいユニットだと思う今日この頃です

ライブという事で全体的に荒削りな所は否めません（特にバックコーラスが辛い）し、また「恋のフーガ」キメのドコドコドンもティンパニーでなくタムかなんか叩いてるし、
残念なところはあります。
しかーし、それを補って余り有るクリムゾンの「エピタフ」は最高でした。
原曲よろしくティンパニーで始まりメロトロンも使っているし、この曲への思い入れがひしひしと感じられます。
もちろんボーカルも素晴らしく荘厳な曲を見事に歌いあげております（泣き）。
「エピタフ」終了後、余韻にひたる間もなく岸部シローのとぼけたＭＣが・・（別の意味で泣き）

　これは！！。検索サーフィンしていて見つけました。そうそう自分にとってザ・ピーナッツは洋楽の楽しさを最初に教えてくれた貴重な存在だったんだと改めて思い直しました。どうして今まで購入していないのか・・・馬鹿だったなぁ。現存する（？）彼女達のＣＤを全て今回購入しましたが、これが一番良かった。全曲、録音状態も良くて素晴らしいですね。監獄ロックや洋楽ヒット曲の日本語訳は感動ですわ。今の人たちは皆英語で歌ってるけど、この頃はこれでなくてはいけなかったのかもしれませんね。さすがにエピタフは英語ですけれど・・・。よくやるよねぇ・・宮川泰のアレンジ、編曲というのは最高ですね。
　彼女達、今はどうしているのでしょうか？
