　最初から、どことなく怪しげなチープさがスゴイ！なんだかなーと思いつつ見ていくと、逆にハマルという複雑な映画です。小道具とか特撮は、はっきり言って破綻していますが、なんでしょう妙なリアルさもあるんです。ハリウッドの金をつぎ込んだ映画と比べても、インパクトでは勝ってます。友達のおかんの裸のような、見ないほうがいいけど見てしまうような映画とでも言いますか･･･。友達にこれ絶対見ないほうがいいよ！と見せたくなる映画でした。

スゴイっスよ、マジで。
やられたらやり返す「目には目を、歯には歯を」ってのは人間的に
わかることだけどこの作品は「目には目と歯を、歯には歯と目を」
だった。二十歳の誕生日の日に上野まで行って、鑑賞してきた作品
に大きな影響を受けた。やられたら、それ以上にやられちゃうんだ
と。

実際にあった犯罪とその加害者を的にした作品。はじめは興味本位
で見たかっただけだけど、本作を見てその興味本位を忘れてしまう
ほど、衝撃的な作品だったことを覚えてる。
個人的には最後の方にチョイ役で出演してた丹波さんの役どころの
意味が分からなかったかな。
これはＢ級映画と論じる輩がいるけれど、一度は見ておいた方が。

宗教思考が絡んでくるシーンも多々あるけど、それを差しおいても
おもしろい作品であることは自信を持ってお勧めします。

一般的な尺度から見れば、全く無意味で不愉快な作品であろう。
予算的に非常に苦しい現場で、その安っぽさを更に強調するかのような演出を、わざわざやったとしか思えないし、なぜ丹波哲郎が強引に現れるのかも、わからない。
しかし、この作品を一般的尺度で測ることや、意味付けしようとすること自体も、また無意味なのだろう。
生きても地獄、死んでも地獄、そもそもテメェの人生とやらに何の意味がある。
意味付けを拒否して意味を問う。これぞ石井監督流の「反意味」。
