英語のかっこよさはBONNIEPINKばかり印象強いのですがここにもいたか、という感じ。しかし日本語のひだの表現ならfayrayの方が一枚上手ですね。

作品は1曲目から心地よい風が吹いてきました。2曲目の「Baby if,」個人的に最も好きですが、1曲目の余韻を更に広げてここにこのアルバムの最初のカラーが決まります。4曲目はBONNIEPINKのサウンドと鬼束ちひろの詞の深さを会わせたよう。

5曲目は次につなげるトンネルのように、アルバムに影をつくり6曲目の彼女の見せ所に突入。詞のインテリジェンスさに沿うように「やまと」的、日本的な音の余韻からラップ、HRのギターという目まぐるしい嵐のあとに、最後に桜のはなびらのようなピアノの儚さと綺麗なうたごえで沙羅双樹に達し、再び始まりへと返るこの曲。実験的エネルギーの塊といえるこの曲は、彼女が最も精神的な芸術面とPOPS的な側面との融合を達成した曲かもしれません。

7、8曲目は前が前だけに、かなりホッとさせられるように配曲されています。しかしそのコントラストゆえに彼女の幅広さとうたのメロのよさが感じられますね。また10曲目にスピード感のある異色の非常にかっこいい曲をもってきたのは、リスナーに彼女の音楽のひきだしの多さをかなり感じさせたまま終演となります。聴き終わって彼女は他の歌手より首一つつき抜け出ているかも、と思えました。
