かっこいいねえ。まじで。まるで武道の立合いの瞬間を音にしたような、そんな緊張感あふれる音楽、たまりません。限りなく少ない音の数。だが一つ一つに魂が込められてるのが伝わってくる。並みの音とは比べもんにならんほどの重み。互いの間合いをじわじわと確かめるようにとことんグルーヴするリズム隊、そしてぽっかり開いた空間を斬りつけていくようなギターと声。ヤラレマス。

かなり個性が強いバンドなんで好き嫌いはかなり分かれそう。好きなひとにはライブいくのすんげえお勧めします！54-71の“間”に滅多打ちにされること間違いなし。

現在はギターが抜けてしまっている彼ら。「最近面白いバンドいる？」なんて人には必ず54-71を紹介しています。今一番ライヴが見たいバンドかも。早くギター入らないかな・・・。この緊張感は他では絶対に味わえません。本当に神経痺れます。

その静かで歪曲したギターの響きは、
下痢色をした鮮やかな音。

語り部の様な柔らかなMCは、
リスナーを執拗に責め立てるかの如く悲痛を伝える。

音を敷き詰めない事で生まれる「変な」空間は、
彼らの独特のバランス感覚によって整合性を与えられ、
そこで僕達は憂鬱な激情にゆらゆらと踊る。
