　PS版発売時、ものすごく欲しかったんだけど、「DC版が出るんだ！　それまで待つんだ！！」と自分に言い聞かせてPS版をスルーして1年が過ぎ、α外伝が発売されたときゃキレましたよ、「DC版はどうした！　出すならDC版が先だろう！！」ってね・・・。　しかもその時点でセガのハードメーカーからの撤退も発表されていたんで、「DC版は、もう出ないんじゃ・・・。」と不安に駆られたものでした。
　半分意地になって、「DC版出るまで、αも外伝もやらねぇ！！」と決意してから半年後、やっと発売→即ゲット！！→早速、プレイ！！
　す、素晴らしい！　面白い！！
　未だにPS版はプレイしていないので、外伝との比較になってしまいますが、インターミッションのグラフィックがきれい！　PS2以降のスパロボでも流用されているぐらい、きれいで、デッサンの狂いがほとんど無い。
　3Dの戦闘シーンについては、GC,XOなどでも酷評は多いが、自分はかなり好きだ。　α　for DCの次に発売されたPS2のIMPACTも当然3Dだと思っていたのに、2Dだと知った時にはがっかりしたほどだ。　特にヴァルシオーネRの円月殺法と、ダンバインとビルバインの合体攻撃「ツインオーラアタック」がお気に入り！！
　PS版に収められていたムービーだけでなく、戦闘シーンで使われているポリゴンモデルを利用した実機ムービーも良い。
　新規エンディングルートも良い！！　もう全て最高！！　スパロボシリーズでは一番好きな作品です。

　シリーズ初のフルポリゴン戦闘シーンが注目部分となったスパロボのDC版がコレ。
　その他にも以前に使われている合体攻撃が完全導入されたり、カメラアングルが変えられたりするのはこのDC版が初めてで、私もかなりハマった。やりがいのある１枚であることは間違いない。

　だが唯一にして最大の弱点があった。それはDC発売であることだ。当時、PS２で話題作『FF１０』が発売した直後ということもあって、友達の中でもDCよりPS２を買う友達が続出。結果、機種が違うため友達はやらず終い。さらに、このソフトの販売の３か月後、同じ内容のソフトがPSで、しかも廉価で発売されてしまったのだ。

　私はDC版もやったし、同じタイトルのPS版もやった。でも私がより好きなのはこちらだから、みなさんにもまだまだDC版をおすすめしたい！

戦闘シーンをあえてポリゴンにしたところに拍手。地味だった戦艦の攻撃がかっこよくなってます。また合体攻撃には感涙！！ジェットストリームアタックがなける！！
ドリキャスもっている人はやってみては？
