魔界村シリーズでは敵キャラであったレッドアリーマーが主人公。
基本的には２Dのステージを敵を倒したり避けたりしながら進んでいくアクションゲーム。
ただ、この作品ではマップ移動というRPG的な要素も組み込まれていて、話したりアイテムを拾ったりできた。
魔界の戦士が主人公なので、舞台設定は人間が主人公のRPGなどと比べると新鮮だった。
カプコンらしく、ゲームボーイながら音楽もなかなかよかった。

魔界村系ではこれしかやった事がないのですが。
まだ出始めの頃やった時には私には難しくてパスワード書きながら何日もかけてやっとクリアしたのを覚えています。
つい最近やってみたら意外と簡単で何時間かでクリアできましたw。アクションゲーム慣れしている人ならそんなにつまづかずクリアできるのではないでしょうか。
このゲーム、世界感もいいけれど音楽も良いです。なんだか耳によく残ります。
個人的には鏡の面のBGMがお気に入り。
レッドアリーマが色んな技を覚えていくのもやっていて楽しいですよ(*'∀`)

ゲームボーイですから、長時間のプレイはやはり目に堪えます。
横スクロールアクションですが、RPGみたく、マップを行き来し、アイテムも獲得する。
あんまり難しくはないですね。
ジリジリ倒すパターンは魔界村以来変わらないですね。
