客を乗せて縦横無尽に爆走！！目的地に早く着けばそれでよし！
対向車線を走ろうが、公園を突っ切ろうがおかまいなし・・・
そんなぶっとんだゲーム『クレイジータクシー』の続編です。
前作がアメリカ西海岸だったのに対して、
今回はアメリカ東海岸・NEW YORK CITYがモチーフになっています。

このゲームで重要なのは"いかに早く客を送り届けるか"です。

その為にはどんな手段も惜しみません。
様々なドライビングテクニックを駆使して早く送り届けます。
走行中の加速に『CRAZY DASH』、急なコーナーに『CRAZY DRIFT』
急いでバックしたい時に『CRAZY BACK DASH』、
ドリフトで180°ターンからバック走行をする『CRAZY BACK DRIFT』。
これは、前作でも健在でした。

しかし、今回新たなドライビングテクニックが追加されました！！

その名も『CRAZY HOP』！
これは、何もない所で車を"ホップ(跳ねる)"させるというもの。
ちょっとした段差も、このホップで飛び越える事ができ、
隠しルートを見つける楽しみもあります。

そんなゲームを盛り上げてくれるのは、
『ヤーヤーヤーヤーヤ！』が爽快だった"THE OFFSPRING"。

そして、新たに登場したのが"METHODS of MAYHEM"です。

前作以上にクレイジーになった今作。
ぜひともプレイしてみてください♪

基本的な内容は前回通り、客を目的地へ少しでも早くカッコよく送る事。
そのためだったらどこをどう走っても構わない。

BGMは前作同様、アメリカのパンク系
バンドTHE OFFSPRINGの名曲ばかり揃ってます。

前作と何が変わったのかと言うと、
・客が１人だけではなく、団体客として数人同時に乗せたり出来ること。
・CRAZY HOPという技の追加で、車ごとジャンプできるようになったこと。

団体客は一度に沢山乗せれるが、時間内に全員を届けないと一銭も儲けが入らないと言う、
ちょっとした高難易度なシステム。その代わり、成功時のポイントは大きい。

CRAZY HOPは走っているタクシーをジャンプさせてしまうと言う、不思議な技ｗ
さらに現実からかけ離れてしまう気もするが、

こんなクレイジーなゲームなので笑って済ませれてしまいます。
でもこのジャンプでいっきに障害物を飛び越えたりできて、
移動範囲が立体的になり、また楽しいです。

今回ニューヨークが舞台との事もあって、ビル街が増え迷いやすくなっているかもしれないが、
沢山走って町を体で覚えてしまえば何も問題は無い。

完全にプラスな新化を遂げたクレタク第2弾だと思います。

手元においておいても、損はないゲームです。

前作からのパワーアップとして、ジャンプが可能になりました。
クレイジーピラミッドモードも、相変わらず、やりこめ、面白いです。

コースが２コースなのはすこし物足りないかもしれません。

やってて、楽しいです。アーケードゲームなので、やりこむ＝プレイが上手くなるということなので、どうしてもプレーを競うと言うことになってしまいますが。対戦プレーはありません。

爽快感というよりも、達成感のほうがこのゲームはあるのでは。
