全体的に暗い画面、
BGMはほとんどなく、環境音が中心の世界、
どこか歪んでるけれど細部まで描かれ魅力に満ちた登場人物、
作家性の強いストーリー。

このゲームの世界観に少しでも共感すれば、もう抜け出せなくなります。
万人にはｵｽｽﾒ出きませんが、間違いなく傑作です。

主人公が謎の修道院を訪れたところから始まるゲーム。

このゲームの良さはリアル。
ストーリーの構成も、キャラクターの構成も、修道院の設定も全部が全部。
実在する人間をキャラクターに持ってきてかぶせたり、実在する修道院がモデルになったり・・・と凄い意気込みです。
リアルにリアルを重ねたこの作品だから不自然なところは殆どない。

セーヴポイントと呼ばれるものは聖なる泉が湧いているという設定になっているし、
ピストル等特別な武器以外は使用していくうちに壊れるし。
ＲＰＧに良くある武器屋、アイテム屋など存在するはずがない、なんせ修道院なのだから（アイテムは敵が落としていくので運任せ）。
極めつけはある一夜の出来事の話であるため最初から最後まで殆ど暗い。

暗すぎて物が見えないと思うかもしれないが、これもある意味リアルにリアルを重ねた結果だと思われる。
ＢＧＭも脅かすようなガンガン響く音ではなく殆ど効果音（風の音とかそんなの）のシンプルな構成なので余計にドキドキします。

他にはびっくりするぐらいノロノロした戦闘シーン。
私も最初は？と思いましたが慣れるとこれが丁度いい。

ホラーゲーム好きな方や独特のゲーム好きな方にはオススメ出来ます。
肉付けの凄さにひれ伏してしまう。天晴れ。

兎にも角にも雰囲気、設定がイイ。
怪物の徘徊する館（修道院）を探索してキーアイテムを見つけ
真実を確かめにいくドキドキ感はバイオハザードにも共通してるような…
そういうのが好きな人にはオススメ！
システムはどこかFFシリーズに似ている
（主にアイテムやラスボスより強い敵がいたりと）
また裏要素もあったりRPGとしては合格！

戦闘は遅いなあと思いますが、やってるうちに馴れると思います。
このストーリーはシャドウハーツに繋がるので
シャドウハーツをやった人、やろうとしてる人は是非！！！
