前作の「トワイライトシンドローム」から打って変わって、この作品は「サイコホラー」。
登場するのは幽霊ではなく、変質者や殺人鬼。
「トワイライト」の内容から比べると、多少ムリのあるストーリー。
画面はキャラクターにもポリゴンを使ったのでちょっと好き嫌いがでてしまうかも。

ただ、前作のキャラクターが登場するので、ファン要素はかなり高いと思う。

サイコホラー系が好きな人や、前作をプレイしてハマッた人、前作の続きが気になる人は買いかも。

９０年代、当時の不安定な社会を反映したのか、新世代ハードのスペックが様々なジャンルのクリエイターを刺激したのか、奇奇怪怪なゲームが沢山生まれました。
これって本当にゲームなんだろうか…、そんな感想を抱かせるＡＤＶや環境ソフト。
このムーンライトシンドロームはそんな奇ゲーの中でも頂点を極めた作品だと思います。
キャラクター達は様々な暴言で主人公（逞しく世の中を渡る少女と、社会に背を向ける少年という対照的な二人）＝プレイヤーを責め、心理的に追い詰めます。
声優の熱弁による言葉の暴力に対して、こちらからの反論は弱弱しいテキストでのみ行われるのは中々のアイディア（耳に残るのは罵詈雑言のみという仕組みです）。

シナリオは受け手の想像にかなり負う面があります。各種解説本などが多数出版されていますが、最終的には一人ひとりが考えるほかは無いでしょう。
個人的には前作より印象に残った、いい意味でも悪い意味でも強烈なタイトルです。

自分がやって是ほど鬱状態(ストーリーで)になったゲームは初めてです。
ＤＩＳＫ1は妄想電波の嵐、一種の黙示録ですよ是は。
ＤＩＳＫ2は前半よりストーリーの厚みは減ったしパワーダウンしているが
第６話の「浮誘」は個人的に一番好き。
エピローグの後味の悪さは今でもトラウマです。
ちょとキャラクターを粗末にしすぎ？
兎に角、鬱になれるゲームとしてはお勧め。
今から思うと是はアドベンチャーでは無くノベルかも知れない。
