　苛烈な生々しさを備えた音が聴こえて来る。若さとはこうも
凄まじいものかと嘆息してしまうほど。その音の潔さに鳥肌がたった。
バント名も潔いし。即買いをオススメしたいです。私的ハイライト
ナンバーはやはり＃２でしょうか。耳にも、体にも残るグルーヴだと
思います。大音量でゼヒ聴いて頂きたいと思います。

　ＵＫロックが変わりつつある事の、判り易い旗印のようです。若さ
も彼等もホントに凄い。

若干19歳、UKの新星がとうとう放った1stアルバム。
とにかくそのグルーヴ感がハンパじゃない。
Vo.ロバートの声が高らかに鳴り響き、轟音が耳に届いた瞬間、体中の血液が沸騰するような即効性を持っている！
音のバリエーションはそれほど多くないし、テクニックもまだまだ拙い。

だが、これほど独自で、魂を揺さぶられ、踊りの衝動が強い音楽はまず無いといっていいだろう。

特に必殺ともいえる7を聴くだけで、体温が2度上昇しそうだ。

シングルで『ザ・ピープル』を聴いたときほどの衝撃ではない。だがアルバムとしてのトータル感もあり、聴けば聴くほど一曲一曲が良くなってくるアルバムだ。一ヶ月たった今では、シングル『ザ・ピープル』よりも素晴らしいと思えるようになった。日本にもしょっちゅう来てくれるし、ザ･ミュージックは何て良い奴らなんだろう。2002年12月にも来日公演してくれる。きっと毎年来てくれる。マンチェスター系の音楽が好きなら、ダンス・ミュージックとロックンロールが好きなら、『ザ･ミュージック』を聴くべきだ。
