感動です。伝説のGFRのLIVE ALBUM。数あるGFRのライブアルバムの中でもこれは最高です。DEEP PURPLEのLIVE IN JAPANとこれは70年代の傑作ライブアルバムでしょう。
２．ARE YOU READYからの熱気が11.INTO THE SUNまで一気に聴き倒しです。
特に３曲目PARANOIDから４曲目IN NEEDへの流れは今聴いても脳天がしびれるし、６.INSIDE LOOKING OUT（12：53）は大作です。十分心して聴くべし。

マーク・ファーナーの骨太Guitarと伸びやかなvocal。パワフルで手数の多いドン・ブリューワーの正確なDrumimg。そしてGFRの音楽の真ん中で唸るへヴィなBassのメル・サッチャー。トリオバンドとしての最高峰でしょう。

再販でまさかリマスターではないとは思いますが、当時の迫力の音質の方が良いので安心して聴けることでしょう。それにしてもこの音源、貴重過ぎます。

雨の大阪球場（今はありません）を思い出します。他の方のレビューにもありますが、彼らより上手いバンドはいっぱいあったと思うのですが、これほどエモーショナルなバンドはなかったように思います。このあともう１枚ライブが出ております。そちらもいいのですが、衝撃という面では断然こちらです。まず「アー・ユー・レディ」、ライブのオープニングにふさわしい曲でスタート、スピード感十分これでノリノリ、「ハートブレーカー」いいですね。特に一旦終ったかに見えた後、ドラム、ベースがまだまだ続くという感じで鳴り始める瞬間は一瞬の恍惚感に浸ります。「インサイド・ルッキング・アウト」、アニマルズも真っ青、ＧＦＲの完全勝利（アニマルズのも好きなんですが）、聞き比べると時代が変わったと痛感します。ＴＮＵＣ・・ドラムソロは大体退屈なもんですが異様な情熱が伝わってきます。このライブには「時代」が缶詰にされてます。それにジャケットがいいですね。白黒ジャケットにはいいものが多いようにおもいますが、その中でもこれはピカイチ。

ジャケットが良い。これを見ただけで中身の想像が付く。まさにこの写真通りの作品だ。
演奏技術をいうなら、もっと上手なバンドはいくらでもあったのだろうが、このエモーションに勝てるバンドとなると、ちょっと思い浮かばない。
安っぽいステレオでＬＰを聞いた記憶しかなかったのが、久しぶりにＣＤで聞いてこんなに音が良かったのかと驚いた。
「アー・ユー・レディ」が始まると、演奏もさることながら、これを歓喜して迎える聴衆の叫びがすさまじい。
聴いていてこれほど熱狂できるアルバムも珍しいだろう。
