　「サマーナイトタウン」、「抱いてHOLD ON ME!」 でセクシー歌謡？路線を行っていた頃の作風が、今になって突然復活した… という感じの15th.シングル。福田明日香の安定した歌が聴けた頃が好きだったので、久々に買ってしまったボク。

　モダンなビートだけど、ちょっと懐かしい？歌謡曲の香りが残っているのが初期の特徴だったが、まさにそういう作風になっている。福田が抜けて上手い娘がいなくなってしまったが、人数でカバーしている（苦笑）。

　明るい曲の方が「売れる」、というのは確かだそうだが、初期タンポポの「ラストキッス」とか、あの頃の方が、ボクは好きだったなぁ。「LOVEマシーン」から「何か違う…」と思って引いてしまった人にはお勧め。

モーニング娘。の新曲は、「ザ☆ピ~ス！」以降続いていた体育会系路線とはやや趣を変えたR&B歌謡。曲調はいつものように力強いが、元気一辺倒ではなく、初期のモーニング娘。のシングル曲が持っていた「影」「暗さ」も感じさせる深みのある曲になっており、聴けば聴くほど良さが滲み出てくる。カップリング曲はサンバ調の「ちょっとイカした PURE BOY」。

この曲は最近では考えられなかたモーニング娘。の曲に仕上がってます。こういうモーニング娘。を「期待してた人も多いはず」と思うくらい凄いと感じられます。今回の曲のテーマは「決心」だけに聞くとかなり感動します。最近のモーニング娘。の曲はあまり好きじゃなかったという人にもお薦めできるぐらい、モーニング娘。のイメージが「ガラリ」と変わってるので聞いてみてください。
