高校野球は、毎年同じ感動を視聴者に与えてくれます。テーマソングを聞くことにより、さらにその想いは膨らみます。この10曲の中では私的には「手の中の青春」が一番です。
ただ、私のように年齢が少しいっている人は、最近の曲だけではなく、初期の80年代の曲を収録してほしかったです。その頃が青春でしたので。あの頃に戻れたら・・・と思いました。

個人的には、２枚組でもいいから全曲集にしてもよかったと思う。
また、発売時期が中途半端な気もします。
「熱闘甲子園２０周年」という時期にすれば話題性も出たと思うんですが。

個人的にはTSUNAMIの「Dear...」が入ってるのはプラス点、
TUBEの「夏よありがとう」が入ってないのはマイナス点です。

夏が来れば、甲子園。そう高校野球こそが夏の代名詞と呼ばれて久しい。そして夏休みはだらだらと延々と続くNHK中継を横目に見ながら、しかし時として生中継ならではの息を呑むような攻防に目が釘付けになる。

昼のNHK中継が表の雰囲気をリアルに伝えてるとするなら対する夜のテレ朝「熱湯甲子園」は次につないだ或いはその日涙を飲んだ球児裏の姿を優しいタッチで現された番組である。有る意味昼のNHKが「陽と動」であれば夜の熱湯甲子園は「陰と静穏」である。

そしてその日試合が終わった後関西の寄宿場において監督と選手達が懇談する姿が流れたり、母校に返って新しい目標に向う姿をたまに映像として流れて私達の郷愁感や感傷感を引き起こしてくれる。そしてその気持ちを更に助長させるエッセンスこそがこれらの曲だ。これらの曲が更にバックでかかる事で私達は感情的な気持ちで打ちのめされてしまう。

やはりこれらの曲は高校野球があってこその曲なんだろうな、と実感。

青春してた頃の自分を思い出してしまいます。入っている曲ももちろんいいですけど、青春してた頃の自分を懐かしく感じられる一枚。本当によかった！
