私はT-BOLANをリアルタイムで聞いていたわけではありませんでした。
「Bye for now」を昔のチャートを掲載する番組で聞いたことがあるくらいでしたので、このアルバムが初めて直にT-BOLANに触れるきっかけとなりました。
それでも、……何の土壌もない状態でも、T-BOLANの魅力を味わうことのできる名盤だと、断言できます。

「離したくはない」から「Happiness」まで完璧に一つながりとなって直接届いてきますし、ライヴ版の二曲も楽しめます。
ちょっと最後の二曲は断絶してますが（…そこが減点ポイント）。
森友氏のパワーに何度も圧倒されましたし、「傷だらけを抱きしめて」の五味氏のギターに惚れこみました。

五味さんって全体的にシンプルなフレーズなのにカッコイイんですよね。……ギタリストとして憧れる存在です！

テクニックで細かく採点することもできますが、そんなこと抜きにして「T-BOLAN」としてのパフォーマンスを見る限り、……最高レベルのグループだったんじゃないかと思います。
それを凝縮した<at the BEING studio>がこの値段……いい時代になったものですね。
ただ、今となっては生のT-BOLANを見たいなという気持ちでいっぱいです。
「まさに今活動しているT-BOLAN」を見れない分安いのかな、なんて。

だいぶ前に購入しました。
ものすごく売れていた頃、正直Ｔ−ＢＯＬＡＮは私にとっては二の次の存在でした。
ＺＡＲＤ、ＷＡＮＤＳ、ＤＥＥＮ、ＦＯＶがお気に入りで、同じＢｅｉｎｇ系でもちょっと下に位置していたバンドだったのですが、今になってものすごく好きになってしまいました。
もともと「マリア」だけはリアルタイムで好きで、よく聴いていましたが、他の曲も改めて聴いてみるとすごく素敵な曲ばかりです。
以前はＢｅｉｎｇだっていうだけでイヤだという人も多かったと思いますが、今、そういうこと抜きで聴いてみてもらえると、すごく楽曲のよさがよくわかるんじゃないかなと思います。
初期の頃から、詩も曲も完成度が高くていいものばかりです。
ａｔ　ｔｈｅ　ＢＥＩＮＧ　ｓｔｕｄｉｏのシリーズはどれもおすすめしたいですが、その中でも１・２を争うお気に入りのアルバムです。

筆者がT-BOLANのベストアルバムを購入するのは3度目のこととなる。同じ曲を聴くことは可能だが、新たに購入し直すことをせずに前の曲を聴くことはないと思って購入した。今作の購入で損したという気持ちはない。廉価であったこと、付属のライナーノートで造詣が深まったこともあるが、再びT-BOLAN聴くきっかけを与えてくれたことに素直に感謝しているからだ。

筆者と同じようにT-BOLANと共に青春時代を過ごした人は、過去の郷愁を覚える為に購入をお勧めしたいと思います。また、T-BOLANを知らない人は、飾り気のない歌詞（所謂、直球勝負というやつ）である為かもしれないが、森友嵐士のソウルフルなVocalとそれを際立たせる演奏を聴いて欲しいと思います。1st Track『離したくはない』だけを聴いても充分伝わることとでしょう。

少し大袈裟かもしれませんが、彼らは一時代を築いたことは確かで、これらが伝説となろうとしていると思っています。
