   URCアンソロジー・シリーズの第3弾で、全曲がライヴ録音。URCが深く関わっていたイヴェント「フォーク・ジャンボリー」や「フォーク・キャンプ・コンサート」からの音源が多く、60年代末期~70年代初頭当時の雰囲気がダイレクトに刻まれている。たとえばフォーク・キャンパーズや高石友也のプロテスト・ソング、高田渡の3億円事件を題材にしたトピカル・ソングなど、当時の世相をモロに反映している。それにボブ・ディランなど洋楽曲に日本語の歌詞を付けた替え歌が多かったのも、この時代ならではの特徴だろう。そんな中で、三上寛と遠藤賢司のすさまじい絶叫が異彩を放つ。どの曲も当時のライヴならではの、リアルな熱気があふれている。（小山 守）

　このアルバム聴いてすぐ思いついた言葉は「反体制」、フォークとロックは７０年代初期まで反体制の象徴のように言われていた。中期になるとそこからスターらしきものが生まれ、やがて商業的に成功するやビッグになり一世を風靡した。
　そんな７０年の反体制フォークを商品にして、細々とレコードを売っていたのがＵＲＣレコードである。（１）（２）（４）（７）はその象徴的な曲である。また自分の思うことストレートに表現できるという面もあったのか、（６）（８）様な作品もある。さらに（５）（９）（１０）のような新しいサウンドをも求めてもいたんだろう。
　それぞれにいえることは決してメジャーではないこと。あくまでもアンダーグランドであるというコトが絶対条件である。そんなアーチスト達のライブ録音集である。

「腰まで泥まみれ」「男らしいってわかるかい」などなど、
このＣＤは、頼まれもしないのに命を削るように絶叫したい歌に溢れている。
通信になって、信じられないような曲まで発掘されて
カラオケ化している昨今、知っている人も、知らない人も、このＣＤの
曲を練習して、皆をあっと言わせてはいかがだろうか。
もちろん、あたり一面を真冬のアラスカにしても、私のせいにしないでください。
