　２００５年４月１６日、高田渡さんが逝去されました。
　５６歳でした。６歳年下の僕は本当にショックですぐ、レビューを書きましたが、ショックのあまり送信ミスしたようです。
　　~古いＣＤを聴きながら、お通夜としょうして彼が愛したバーボンを飲んでいたのです~

　さて、昭和４０年代に思春期に達していた世代以降には、このアルバムは、異次元の存在かもしれないですね。例えばBeatlesにしてもＳ＆Ｇにしても、現在でも当時と同様に露出していますが、このアルバムに収録された作品は、時々ＮＨＫのＢＳ＝２で特集で流れるくらいですから・・・。

　「フォーク」と呼ばれるジャンルは、日本では「フォークソング」とも異なるし、「フォークロック」の「フォーク」部分とも異なる日本の独特の音楽世界だと僕は思っています。
　ですから、ＰＰＭとも違うし、Ｓ＆Ｇとも違う。その後の吉田拓郎の後半やかぐや姫とも違う。
　私小説的な部分、政治的なメッセージ性、社会批判・・・・それが、露骨でなく、何か、ホンワカした中に秘められた特殊な音楽空間です。

　このアルバムは、この不思議な世界の入門編としてお奨めです。
