「たましいの場所」の最後で、早川さんが言及しているライブアルバムがこの２枚である。活動再開後の曲については、発表当時よりも息遣いも含めてより一層ストレートに伝わるべきものが伝わってくる気がする。ジャックスの曲の数々についても、過去完了形の採録ではなく、現在進行形の歌として伝わってくるのである。

「たましいの場所」を読んでから、ぼくは、このアルバムを聴いたのであるが、現在進行形の同時代に早川さんが歌っている、書いている、生きている。そのことの幸せをたっぷりと感じることができた。

最高です。初の２枚組、ライブ録音ですが、早川節は変わりません。
緊張感に満ちた「音楽」から、壮絶に歌い上げる「いつか」まで、言葉が肉体を苛むように迫ってきます。

このＣＤを購入してまもなく聴きにいったライブは、心地よい緊張感に終始包まれて、何度も鳥肌が立つほど感動した。歌の力強さに打たれたという気持ちだ。ライブでの熱い歌声と、演奏が目の前に浮かび上がる素晴らしい録音です。
