新曲としてテレビスペシャルでも使用された「ルパン三世のテーマ'78」(オリジナルバージョンの「ルパン三世のテーマ」)のニューレコーディングバージョンを収録。

これだ！って思いました。とにかく１曲目がかっこいい！！ルパンを一度でも見たことのある人ならジャズやフュージョンを普段聴かない人でも問題なし！そして想像よりも熱いサックスソロにジャズファンも納得。テーマ部分のギターのカッティングにはギター小僧も納得。

それ以外にもヴォーカルものあり踊れる曲ありファンキージャズありストレートジャズありビッグバンドありフュージョンありボサ・ノヴァありでお腹いっぱいです。

ジャズ初心者やルパン好きの方はもちろん、これからジャズやフュージョンでも聴いてみようかなという人にも大推薦。最初から知らない曲ばかりのCDに手を出しちゃうより知ってる曲が合ったほうが絶対に聞きやすいです。このCDがきっかけであなたもジャズの似合う素敵な大人に!なれるかも？

このアルバムは確かにこれまでのLUPIN JAZZシリーズとは、"Another"な仕上がりだ。
ピアノやアコースティックなサウンドが多いシリーズ3部作に比べ、シンセサイザーが多用されたり、サウンドの幅がヴァリエーションに富んでいる。
前出レビュアーの指摘通りに「JAZZが分からなくてもオススメ」であり、かつJAZZフリークをも唸らせるだけの高い完成度を持っている。

私は仕事中にMacのiTunesで聴いているが、ビック・コンボなサウンドは意外と邪魔にならずに聴くことが出来る。
アルバム内のサウンドは好みが分かれるところだが、"耳にすんなり入る"質の高い出来映えに満点を付けた。
次々と新シリーズが発売されるので、LUPIN JAZZファンとしてはこれからも楽しみだ。

素晴らしくカッコいいルパンです。
他のＪＡＺＺシリーズも飽きの来ないつくりですが、
これはＪＡＺＺの中でも特に幅広いムードを持っているように
感じます。ＪＡＺＺが分からなくても絶対おすすめ。
ｅｎｄｌｅｓｓで聴きたいアルバムとはまさにこんなの！
という最高にツボにはまる１枚でした。
