   脱サラして念願のペンション経営に乗り出したカタクリ家の主人とその家族。しかし、そこに泊まる客はなぜかみんな死を迎えてしまい、悪評が立つのを恐れた家族は、遺体を土に埋めては隠し続けていく…。
   そもそもは韓国映画『クワイエット・ファミリー』のリメイクなのだが、こちらの監督は三池崇史だからして無事にすむはずもなく、案の定、今回彼が選んだ手法はなんとミュージカル!?　父（沢田研二）、母（松坂慶子）、長女（西田尚美）、長男（武田真治）、そして祖父（丹波哲郎）、さらには忌野清志郎など異色ゲストも交えて、みんなが歌い、踊るのだ。楽曲はどことなく一昔前の歌謡曲風なのも楽しく、より一層キテレツ感を増幅させてくれている。不気味でキッチュで楽しい、いわく言いがたいヘンな映画！（的田也寸志）

まず出演者が豪華！それも、それぞれの個性をパロディーにしてしまったようなキャスティング！
ミュージカル仕立てで、歌とダンスもふんだん！一見、ばかばかしいような内容に感じるかもしれないけど、この根底にある「家族」というもの、「人の死」に対する想いなどが感じられて、最後はなんだか納得しながらさわやかな気持ちにしてくれます。

また、ＤＶＤ特典のメイキングやインタビューなどが、特に良いので、絶対ＤＶＤでの購入をお勧めです。

三池監督の映画にしては俳優が有名どころが集まってますね。出ているすべての俳優がいいです。とにかく歌って踊れる人ばかりなので、ばっちり決まってます。途中に入るクレアニメーションなのかな、これもアクセントがついてよい効果があります。

あと、なんで面白いのかというと、この監督が暴力的なシーンが得意な点にあると思います。激しい映像が（犯罪も、自然の激しさも）うまいから、ほかのほのぼのしている映像が引き立つのです。
私自身はすごく気持ちがめげているときに初めて観たのですが、嫌なことを忘れさせてくれました。終ったときに楽しい気分にさせてくれた映画です。感謝感謝。

最後に丹波さんが「大霊界」そのままに飛んでいってしまうところも面白いし、出だしのカラスを木を投げて落とすところなんかいいですねえ。
私は本当に楽しかったです。

日本映画界の核弾頭、三池監督の作品が次々とＤＶＤ化され、ファンにとっては、嬉しい反面、財布の中身が気になる今日この頃です。冒頭の人形アニメから飛ばしまくりで、一瞬映る「ポンカレー」の看板は「漂流街」繋がりなんてのはファン泣かせ。とにかく最初から最後まで全てのキャストが楽しんで演じている、この作品。おススメです。三池監督に不可能なジャンルは存在しない！！
