スタンダードをこれほどムーディーに弾いたピアノトリオが
あっただろうか？
スローなテンポもチャーラップにかかれば一音一音ごとに粒立ちも
よく新鮮な五月の風のように耳に響く。
モナリザも、メロディーラインが美しくなつくかしく感じられ
初恋の人にばったり出会ったような感覚にさえ陥る。
いつまでも聞いていたいと思わせるCDだ。

１０年間ほどジャズを聴いていなかったので、久しぶりにこのＣＤを聴いてびっくり。５０~６０年代のジャズを聴いていた僕としてはピアノの一音一音、ベースの締まった音、切れのよいシンバルの音等、すばらしい録音です。浦島太郎の心境です。親しみのある曲ばかりでリラックスして聴けます。

砂浜に打ち寄せる波の音、
沈む夕日をバックにこの夏の出来事を思い出す。
グラスを片手にしみじみと…。
夏の夜の花火、ビーチでの甘酸っぱい恋、
ちょっとセンチな気分になりつつ目を閉じる。
そんな想い出たちが、ソロで演奏されている
１曲目『いそしぎ』によってよみがえる。
そして、ゆったりとスウィングする２曲目

『過ぎし夏の想い出』が空をだんだんと夜の色に染めてゆく。

アルバム全体がスローテンポな曲で構成されており、
聞く人の心をうっとりとさせてくれます。
このアルバムとともに夏を振り返ってみてはいかがでしょうか。
