このアルバムただのベスト盤ではない、なんと本人選曲というミュージシャン顔負けの企画ベストなのである。勿論「冬オペ」は入っているが、その他「恋のロープ」や「不思議な手品」等の知名度から言えば当然入っているべき曲が無いのが面白い。それでも「冬オペ」をはずしていない所がこの曲の偉大さを感じる。

個人的には他のベストでなぜ「真夏の滑走路」が入っていないのだろうな？あれいい曲なのにな？と思っていたのでこのベストでセレクトされているのは妙に頷けるのだ。曲調こそ異なれおニャン子で言うところの「真っ赤な自転車」に当たる曲では？と勝手に納得している。

話は変わるが、新田恵利は実は芸能復帰しているのをご存知だろうか？実は復帰ライブまでこなしていたのだ。勿論ソロデビューをした時のような華やかな環境ではなかったが、１５年以上を経てもかけつけるある意味リスペクトに値する熱いファンもいるのだ。それに対して返礼するかのようなライブを含めたイベントをしている新田恵利の対応こそ新のエースだったのではないだろうか？これを経て初めて「名」に「実」が伴ったおニャン子の中のおニャン子になった。

満里奈のように（良い悪いは別として）おニャン子の記憶を掘り起こされる事を嫌う人や結婚して全て当時の芸能経験を伏せてしまうおニャン子を顧みれば、やはり新田恵利はいつまでも「エース」なんだなと思う。こニャン子とおニャン子を継続して大切に考えるというのは「エース」になり得る最大の物差しになるのではと。

今までいろんなアイドルのベストを買いましたが最低です。買わないほうがいいです。のちに2としてシングルA面コンプリートのMYこれやAB面コンプリートのシングルコンプリートが発売されています。これらが出るまで待てば良かった。中古で売りに出しても買う人いません。ファンの人はこんなんで満足なのかな?
