とにかく全てにおいて素晴らしいロープレ。グラフィックはファミコンにしてはすげ~頑張ってるし、戦闘は楽しいし、音楽はめっちゃ良いし、登場するキャラクターは多いし、ストーリーは良くて長いし、敵キャラは個性的だし、武器はかっこいいし、バランスもよくできてるし、操作性も良いし。。。　本当にこの作品は素晴らしい。なんで続編が出ないのかが疑問で仕方ないくらい。コナミさんに何度もアンケートハガキに「ラグランジュポイントの続編を出してください」って書いて出してたこともあったくらい。それぐらいこの作品は良い！！

ただ、一つ欠点がある。敵の出現率が高くてイラつく時があるのだ。これがなけりゃドラクエやＦＦにも決して負けないだろう。

このソフトが出たときは、すでにスーファミが発売された後でした。私が購入したのはスーファミ登場後で価格が下がった後でしたが、購入した金額以上に十分に楽しませて貰いました。科学者がバイオ技術でクーデターを起こしたという設定も面白かったです。ただ、こういう設定やボスキャラの変身など、オリジナリティという面ではもう一息でした。矩形波倶楽部の音楽がイイ！サウンドモードで何度も繰り返し聞きました。ＢＧＭやＳＥとしてだけではなく「鑑賞」に値する音楽に近いと思いました。

このソフト購入と同時に、同じコナミのエスパードリーム２も購入しましたが、こちらも良かった。この２本のおかげで、我が家では「ファミコンでまだまだいけるぜ！」とスーファミの購入を遅らせることになり、そしてＰＳ全盛期に「ニューファミコン」の購入に踏み切ることになりました。

ストーリー、音楽、バトル全部最高です!ただ敵の出現率がおおすぎるのを除けば。でも最高に楽しいから許す!コナミさんぜひ続編かリメイクをだしてください!
