ロト三部作の先代的と言われるドラクエ3
スーパーファミコンとなり美しいグラフィックやすぎやま先生の音楽もグレードアップされ、スーパーファミコン版追加要素として性格システムと職業には盗賊が新しく仲間入りし、ボス級モンスターのHPが大幅にアップされファミコン版よりは臨場感に戦闘が楽しめました。
すごろく場の恐怖の落とし穴ゾーンとエクストラダンジョンとしてゼニス城と神龍の塔が追加(ゲームボーイ版は氷の洞窟がありますね)天空シリーズからの小さなメダル集めやタンスやツボを調べたり出来ますし、職業別による武器防具や道具アクセサリー、性格が変わる本が追加されて初心者には大変やりやすいリメイク版ドラクエ3です。
オープニングシーンの勇者がまだ幼いとき、勇者の父オルテガの旅立ちや火山との死闘、アレフガルドのゾーマ城での息子、娘として勇者が見たオルテガ最後の雄姿にはドラクエ5のパパスの最後の雄姿を思い出し涙しました。 ファミコン版から20年経った今でも傑作RPGです。

ここまで完璧なリメイクゲームがあったでしょうか?皆様に胸を張ってオススメできます。

性格システムの導入でファミコン以上にキャラクターを自由に育成できるのが楽しいです。

音楽もすごくいい感じに再現されています。本当にオススメできます。

１９８８年にファミコンで発売された名作ドラクエ３は、１９９６年にスーファミで、２０００年にゲームボーイカラーでリメイクされました。一般的にリメイクの多くは、昔の人気に頼っただけのエミュレート（模倣）＋α（おまけ）です。ドラクエ３ほどの有名な作品でしたら、エミュレートだけでも売れたと思います。ところが、ドラクエ３のスーファミのリメイクは、ただのエミュレートではなく、全体的に新しく創り直されていました。より美しくなったグラフィック、便利で快適になった操作性・システム、そして追加されたさらなる冒険。エニックスがリメイクするにあたり、新しく作品を創り直すくらいの意気込みと情熱を注いでいることが伝わって来ました。大袈裟（おおげさ）な表現ですが、ドラクエ３はスーファミでリメイクされたことにより、新たに魂を吹き込まれました。

２０００年にリメイクされてから、もう８年も経つのですね（２００８年現在）。ぜひ新機種でリメイクされたドラクエ３をプレイしたいです。
