シリーズ中最も切なくて泣けた作品。
初めてプレイしたのはもう13年も前ですが、今でも思い出すと
少しウルウルしてきたりして。
私のまわりでは戦闘時のAIの出来がけっこう不評でしたが、
シナリオはドラクエの中ではこれが一番好きです。

ロト三部作が完結し、新シリーズとなったこの作品。
章立てで引き込ませてくれました。
１章のライアンは生粋の戦士
２章のアリーナは武闘家　クリフトは僧侶　ブライは魔法使い
３章のトルネコは商人
４章のマーニャは魔法使い　ミネアは僧侶
各章共に絶妙なバランスが取れていたんです。

メインである５章は、馬車システムや気球、街の育成など「見所」満載です。
「小さなメダル」もこの作品から。

残念なのは、各章の（特に２章）物語が全て語りきれなかった事。
システム・音楽・ストーリー全てが「名作」の名に恥じない物となっています。
PS版リメイクではなく、是非オリジナルの方をプレイしてみて下さい。

手に入れるのなら、出来るだけ初期のロットの物をどうぞ。
カジノのコインのバグや気球のバグが残っている物が初期ロットです。

初めてプレイしたドラクエでした。
この後、ドラクエ５，７とプレイしたけど、心に残ってるのはやっぱりこの作品。一番おもしろかったし、あんなにキャラに感情移入できた作品はRPGの中でもすごいと思う。
エンディングをみたときは、思わず泣けました。色々苦労があったなあーがんばったなあなんて。ゲームで泣けるとは本人もびっくりでした。

今ファイナルファンタジー１０をプレイしてて、それからみるとグラフィックなんてもう過去の遺物の勢いなのかもしれないけど、心に残っているのはやっぱりこれで、あのあともっとグラフィックのきれいなのも色々プレイしたけど、やっぱりこれはすばらしいソフトだと思います。
あと、主人公の性別を決めることができたのも良かったと思います。
