最近買ったのですが、すごい怖いです。歩くのは遅いのですが、それがまた逃げられないという恐怖感を生み出しています。もし、速く移動できたら、雰囲気はぶち壊れてしまうでしょう。また、BGMがほとんどないというのも画期的だと思います。手抜きと初めは思いましたが無音の怖いこと怖いこと、効果音のみってのがこんなに怖いとは。そして、適切な限られた部分だけにBGMが流れる・・・。怖い、怖すぎる。やったことない人は即買いものですよ。

　私がこれを初めてプレイしたのは小学校中学年の頃の事ですが、これ程迄に心に食い込むホラー、或いは、ミステリー・ゲームを、私は他に知りません。

　主人公を突き放したような淡々とした画面構成─それが当時としては主流だったのかも知れませんが─弥が上にも恐怖心を掻きたてます。重々しくひんやりとした怖さが、やみつきになる人はやみつきになる、そんなゲームだと私は思っています。

　基本的に主人公は逃げるだけなので、アクション性よりもパズル性の強いゲームがお好きな方に向いていると思います。

初めてプレイステーションを購入したときに「クロックタワー」をやりました。
無サウンド、ジェニファーの足音とドアの開閉のみ。
それが、得もいわれぬ恐怖感がジワジワとせまり、コントローラーを握っている手が汗ばんでいるのが
よくわかりました。
数年前、引越しの関係で「クロックタワー」を売ってしまいましたが、今現在はとっても後悔しています。
「クロックタワー２」も大変おもしろかったのですが、恐怖をヒシヒシと感じたいのなら「クロックタワー」がお勧めです。
