夢工場ドキドキパニックとの違いですが、
・メインキャラクターがそれぞれマリオキャラクターに変更
・アイテムがマリオっぽく変更
・BGMが少し長い
・扉に入った裏世界では、マリオブラザーズの音楽が流れる。
・Bボタンでダッシュが可能になっている。
・エンディングが変更されてます

Bダッシュが出来ることによって、夢工場よりも難度は低くなってます。
これはパワーキャラでジャンプの飛距離が短いキノピオ（元パパ）が顕著で、
夢工場のパパ時では苦しいステージも、
USAではBダッシュジャンプがある為、少しラクです。
（夢工場でのクジラのステージとか）

このゲームは開発陣のお気に入りだったようで、
スーパーマリオコレクション（スーファミ）でサウンドとグラフィックで手直しが行われ、
更にGBAに「スーパーマリオアドバンス」として移植された際は、
巨大アイテムや巨大敵キャラなどの追加が行われています。
（ファミコンミニ化されないのはそう言う理由でしょうか）
携帯ゲーム機をお持ちの場合は、リメイク版もやってみるといいと思います。

　マリオのアメリカバージョンです。それまでのマリオシリーズとは違い、マリオ、ルイージの他にキノピオやピーチ姫を使ってプレイすることができます。

　プレイヤーはステージがはじめる前に、この四人のうちから一人を選んでプレイします。四人とも能力が違っており、走る速さがちがったりジャンプできる高さが違ったりします。ステージに合わせて選ぶと良いでしょう。
　やり応えのあるゲームだと思います。

ＵＳＡというのは確か当時アメリカから逆輸入で日本に来たからだったと思います。

今までのマリオシリーズとは違い、敵キャラのデザインや踏んで倒すのではなく野菜や敵自体を持ち上げて投げるという新しい発想、その他敵キャラや音楽にいたるまでまったく違いかえって新鮮でした。

操作可能キャラクターもマリオとルイージはいつものメンバーとしてもいつもさらわれているピーチ姫や脇役程度でしかないキノピオを操作できるという珍しさ。

最初はマリオシリーズとして異色すぎたのか、なかなかその後のマリオシリーズにこのＵＳＡキャラが登場することは少なかったんですが最近はヘイホーやキャサリンなどもよく登場するようになり、このＵＳＡも知名度が上がると良いですね。
良作だと思います、興味のある方はＷｉｉのＢＣなどでもどうぞ。
