2を聴いてから購入したので2との比較となってしまうが、洗練（若干）された２よりもガレージ感の比率が高くカッコイイことこの上ない。
今までこんなカッコイイバンドを知らなかったなんてもったいない！

次は大きな期待感を持ってオリジナルアルバムを聴いてみようと思う。

最初あまり期待していませんでしたが、聞けば聞くうちこりゃカバーじゃねーじゃん！て感じになります。でも「恋の奴隷」がヘビメタだと思わなかったし、「心の旅」がロックになっちゃうしもう大変。メロディラインと歌詞を事前に知っていた新譜ですね。カラオケでGO!GO!7188風に原曲を歌ってしまいます。

　最初に彼らのビデオクリップを見たのが「ペッパー警部」だった。「ははーん、いいとこに目をつけたぢゃん」なんて思った。でも、見ていて違和感を感じた。普通こういうカバーをやるときは、「ねえねえ、私たちいいとこに目をつけたでしょ、ホメテホメテ」って感じで楽しそうに歌うものだ。ところがライブクリップでは、何か怒ってでもいるかのように真剣に演奏しているのである。何だこいつらは、と思った。
　今回「蛇足歩行」から正しく順を追って聴いてきて、得心した。このカバーアルバムは、普通とはアプローチが逆である。彼らが原曲を選んだのではない。曲の方が、「おねがいヤッテヤッテ」とすり寄ってきたのである。あるいは、周りのみんなが「おねがいヤッテヤッテ」と曲を持ってきたのに違いない。

　デビュー時から、GSやアニメソングに通じるといわれ、「へへーえ、そんなに言うならやってみましょうか?」ってできた作品である。考えてみれば凄いことである。歌謡曲とかアニメソングとかいうものは、プロがアーティストエゴをほとんど抜きにして、ただひたすら売れるために作ったものである。トーシロの段階からそれに似ているということは、どういうことか。遺伝子的レベルで、日本人の普遍的な好みをつかんでいるということである。(詳しくは宮台氏の解説参照)
　「心の歌」は実に楽しそうなパンクに変貌していて、いい。「バンバンバン」でのターキーのボーカルが聞けるのも、カバーアルバムというコンセプトのなせるワザ。ナーイス。
