　Mozart の交響曲第40番に寄せられた「疾走する悲しみ」という形容を引っ剥がし、代わりにこの Giovannni Mirabassi「Dal Vivo！」に献上したいほど、憂いを湛えながら流麗に疾走する美旋律ピアノトリオ・ライブ！

　音数を惜しむことなくふんだんに美が振り撒かれ、ヨーロッパ寄り・クラシック寄りに目一杯振れたジャズ・ピアノの魅力が最大限に発揮される。もう Bill Evans や Keith Jarrett の名前を持ち出すのは憚られるほど、ちょっとこれまでに聴いたことのない演奏。ライナーノーツにある「めくるめく美の散弾があなたを貫く！」という言葉、本当です。

　新進気鋭のピアニスト、ジョバンニ・ミラバッシ。これはトリオによるライブ盤なのだが、これがまた素晴らしい出来栄え。このピアニストを日本に紹介していただいた澤野公房さんへの感謝の念でいっぱいである。哀愁漂うヨーロピアン・ジャズ全開のトリオが時に疾走し、時に柔らかく聴く者を包む。まさに快作と言って差し支えないだろう。

　しかし、難を言えばもう少し曲調に変化をつけてほしかった。ほぼ全曲がマイナー調の曲で似たような感じを受ける。もっと抑揚のある曲なんかを間に挟むなどすれば、いっそう素晴らしいものになっただろう、なんていうことを思ってしまう。

　もっとも、まだまだ若いピアニストなのだし、この内容はやはり面目躍如と言っていいだろう。美しく、儚い旋律に今夜も酔いしれてみようと思います。

若干似たような曲調が多いと
感じないわけではないですが

こういうピアノトリオが聴きたかった!　という人は
多いのではないかと思います。


全編木枯らしが舞い
冷たい風が吹き抜けるような

ペダルとシンコペーションを駆使した

情感たっぷりの
哀切のピアノトリオ
